Privacy Policy

When you use KnockCoach, we collect:

• Account information: your email address, name, and password (encrypted)
• Recordings: audio files of your practice pitches and knocks that you upload to the app
• Transcripts: text versions of your recordings, generated by our transcription partner
• Coaching data: AI-generated feedback, scores, and notes tied to your recordings
• Trade selection: which service industry you selected during onboarding
• Usage data: how you interact with the app (screens visited, features used) for improving the product
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.

We use your data to:

• Provide the coaching service you signed up for
• Generate feedback, scores, and personalized objection recommendations
• Process your subscription payments
• Communicate with you about your account and updates to the service
• Improve the app and the AI models we use

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We do NOT use your recordings to train external AI models beyond what’s needed to serve you.

We share your data with these processors solely to provide the service:

• Deepgram (audio transcription)
• Anthropic (Claude API for coaching analysis)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Supabase (authentication, database, and storage)

Each of these processors has their own privacy policies and security standards.

We retain your recordings and coaching data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 30 days in case you want to reactivate. After that, all your recordings and coaching data are permanently deleted.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@knockcoach.app.

You have the right to:

• Access the data we have about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data

Recording laws vary by state. Minnesota is a one-party consent state, meaning your consent to record is enough. If you use KnockCoach in a two-party consent state, you are responsible for complying with local law by either notifying the other party or only recording your side of the conversation. KnockCoach is not liable for your recording practices.

We use minimal cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that follow you across sites.

KnockCoach is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn we’ve collected data from a minor, we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new policy.
